Power

I have discovered or rather, rediscovered my true self. Locked away and hidden so as to seem 'right' and 'normal' to the masses.

But no more.

I now get to stretch my wings, and take full advantadge of this power. And it is intoxicating. The heady rush of bending others to my will, because I would have it so. The release of inhibitions and the desertion of common sense....

Fufilling and addictive.

Glass Half Empty

Seemingly, the descent has paused for the moment. Hopefully it stays that way.

Still trying to get someone to give me a chance to pull myself to my feet...
'Tis frustrating.

Supposed fabulous new job has landed me in a less than fantastic position of owing a more than considerable sum to the Tax Man.
Drat.
Also owe even more to others. Which makes one feel horridly guilty and even more broke than before.
<insert sarcasm> Yay. <end sarcasm>

On a happier note, today as the 17th of January marks a year and a half of my relationship with a spectacular male, one who makes me laugh and smile even through the dark hours. One who fixes what is broken and helps me grow into a better person.

The Dark Before the Dawn

I have this great sense of emptiness and lack of belonging. A lack of direction too.

The water is escaping from my hands faster than I can catch it.

As it has been said, my perfect little world has come crashing down, but not all aspects have. My rock still stands by me, but opens my eyes to my faults and forces my redemption.

I've been at the bottom of this black hole once before, and I am determined to not hit the bottom again!

The horizon is bleak, but I reach for the shining light. And Pray to the powers that be that it doesn't flicker out!

YEEHAA!

Well. I have a job.

Yay!

Am writing this from their all expenses paid business course on my kickass HipTop3 phone... lol

Anyway, here comes dinner! Take care!

Yeah....

Long time, no speak.

Firstly, on the 3rd of August, we said 'Take this job and cram it' to none other than Telstra. Most satisfying. Telstra meddles with us, and management deign us unworthy of vital information. Bon voyage to them! Oddly enough, everyone in the building I said goodbye too, watched rather wistfully as I packed everything and walked quite happily out the door. All wishing they could do the same!!

July 27th was a momentous occasion, although belated, my partner and I celebrated one year together. Only marred by the fact that his ex -girlfriend and my ex - friend decided to flirt with him 'as a joke'. Not very much to my amusement, though. Much to everyone else's amusement, I promptly informed her to once again drop off the face of the planet, and to keep her legs closed.
*SNAP*

Several weeks ago, the other pair of flat mates left... giving us four days notice. House has been much quieter and am now enjoying hot water again. Several friends are also enjoying having a spare bedroom all to themselves when they crash here. Although it will soon be taken over by a most amusing young lady who is partial to Brown Brothers wine and talking rather fast. Finally, a flatmate who will have fun with us, and not start vacuuming at 9am Sunday morning...

Saturday July 7th was one heck of a night. Firstly, most of my hair was chopped off and all of it was colored, with a rather shocking and very pleasing effect. Then at 7.30, several of my closest friends took a carton of Stella Artois and Vodka Cruiser out the front and hopped into a silver 11 seat limousine with fibre optic lights in the roof and we lapped around down town. At 8.30, we were dropped off at Alexandra's New Orleans Cafe emerging from said limo with one bottle of Stella and 2 bottles of Cruiser left....Not a bad effort. Then we proceeded to have a variety of rather deadly $5 cocktails, before heading to my favorite club, The Met. Not much was retained after this point...

Will update as the job situation improves!
